What You Will Do
As a Test Engineer, you will play an important role in the development of different components and systems for future transportation vehicles. The product teams are responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of various functionalities.
The teams collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to find the best solutions. You will work closely with Function Owners, System Design Engineers, Software Developers, and Software Test Engineers.
We work in flexible, cross-functional product teams that are adapted to the development needs.
You will be part of a software development team, where we develop technical solutions in an international environment, working closely with software and hardware teams, our test facilities, and program management.
What You Bring
We are looking for independent and driven Test Engineers with experience from the automotive industry, particularly within software and/or electrical systems. You are someone who works closely with the team to understand requirements and ensure approved test results.
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or have equivalent education or work experience. You have experience working with software development in vehicle development programs or similar experience from the automotive industry.
You enjoy working in a dynamic and changing environment and see change as something positive and motivating. You understand business value and have the ability to analyze information and prioritize your tasks accordingly. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and personal drive to initiate and drive tasks toward targets are key qualities for success in this role.
Required Competencies
Experience working in different HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments, such as dSPACE and Vector HIL Experience performing verification in vehicles, SWDL (Software Download), and log collection Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) and creating automated test cases
Experience with Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL Knowledge of communication networks such as LIN, CAN, Ethernet, and SOME/IP Experience with diagnostics and signal handling Experience with CarWeaver (or equivalent requirements management system)
Meritorious / Nice to Have
Experience with System Safety
Knowledge of ISO 26262
